TransportingYour Kitten
International Travel Resources:
Transporting your cat internationally requires careful planning and attention to detail. To help you feel prepared and confident throughout the process, I’ve compiled a list of essential resources and guidelines. Whether you're a breeder shipping a kitten or a new pet owner welcoming a cat from afar, these links provide important information about health certificates, travel regulations, and crate requirements.
General information about pet travel:

USDA APHIS Pet Travel Portal provides comprehensive information on pet travel requirements, including country-specific regulations and necessary documentation.
The standard health certificate form for interstate and international transport. This is required for USDA endorsement APHIS Form 7001
USDA-accredited veterinarians can submit health certificates for endorsement through this online system.
Crate & Travel Guidelines:
Selecting the right crate and preparing your cat for travel are essential for a safe journey:
We recommend acclimating your kitten to the carrier prior to flight to ensure your kitten is comfortable during travel.
We recommend this TSA approved carrier. It's available in multiple colors and fits cats up to 15 pounds. (Larger cats, may need special airline permission, also will need a larger carrier. Contact us with questions.)
We will provide a drape for the carrier during travel so the kitten feels hidden and safe.

Sedation is not recommended during travel as such, we do not provide any form of sedation. Instead, we work with you and your kitten to keep him comfortable and feeling safe. If your pet is really anxious or nervous, we may provide pheromones to help your kitten stay calm during flight.

Kittens traveling on a full stomach are more prone to motion sickness and nausea. We will make sure kitten's are fed every 4-6 hours and provide stops for the litter box as well. Water is provided at all times.
*When you book with us, the cost of the carrier is included in your fee. We will ship it to you once your contract is signed, prior to travel to acclimate your pet.
