Transport

We've been approved through the USDA to courier cats internationally. We understand that transporting can be confusing and stressful for those that haven't done it before. What paperwork do I need? Where do I go? Do I need a certain carrier? How will my kitten ride?

We get it. And as a breeder, we understand you want your furbaby to travel as stress-free as possible. We do too! That's why we make sure to keep you updated as often as possible throughout your kitten's travel.

What to expect when your kitten is traveling international:

1. Initial Consultation:
   We’ll start with a detailed consultation to understand your cat’s specific needs, travel timeline, and destination requirements. This is where we discuss crate sizing, required health certificates, and any special accommodations.

2. Health & Documentation Preparation:
   I’ll guide you through the process of obtaining all necessary health certifications, including the USDA-endorsed Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) and any country-specific entry requirements.

3. Pre-Transport Coordination:
   Once the paperwork is in order, we’ll schedule the transport date and finalize crate preparation. I use IATA-approved travel crates and ensure that each cat is comfortable, secure, and acclimated to the enclosure before departure.

4. Day of Transport:
   On the day of transport, I provide real-time updates, so you always know your cat’s status. I prioritize comfort, safety, and timely delivery, handling every step with care and attention.

5. Arrival & Follow-Up:
   Upon arrival, I confirm safe delivery with the recipient and provide logs of your kitten's health along the way; from food/water intake to stress level noticed. I also do a follow-up check-in a day or 2 post drop off to make sure you and your pet are happy and healthy. My goal is to ensure that every cat arrives safely and comfortably at its destination.
